👋 Hi, my name is Anya!

My passion stems from my desire to create easy and memorable products, services, and experiences for consumers whilst having a tangible impact on the organization.

Businesses are constantly battling for the hearts and minds of consumers. However, if we truly reflect on the matter, people constitute the foundation of an organization and are also the individuals who purchase products, services, and experiences.

Using data, I am able to gather actionable insights and craft a compelling story that amplifies the voices of consumers/users and creates impact.

My expertise spans the research process including research design and operations, surveys, in-depth interviews, observations, qualitative synthesis, quantitative analysis (SPSS, R), and dissemination of findings.

Education

M.S in Applied Psychology I University of Southern California

During my time in the M.S in Applied Psychology at University of Southern California (USC) , I studied psychology within consumer and organizational applications. I used quantitative and qualitative research methods to better understand consumer/user behavior and to solve real-world business problems. This program has set the trajectory for my career and has allowed me to explore the different facets of psychology in UX, market research, consumer research, and social media insights.

Some notable components of the program that allowed me to use my skillset in real-world settings include:

  • Treatise: completed in my last semester and approved December 2022 (see my case study)

  • Customer Experience/ R & D Internship: completed in my third semester with Immersion Neuroscience

  • SOAR Consulting Project: completed in my second semester. Click here to view final report.
